This beautiful multi-purpose scarf features a small square shape that can be used as a scarf, a headscarf, a wrist wrap or a bag decoration. It is crafted from deluxe silk satin, soft and sensuous to the touch. For this design, we have chosen to use traditional screen printing instead of digital printing. As the ink penetrates the natural mulberry silk fabric, it gives the scarf a stunning rendering of bold colour on both sides.

The enchantments of travelling!

Our designer, an enthusiastic and intrepid traveller, took a road trip through the magnificent region of Glenorchy in New Zealand with family. The travellers, however, were not happy - the weather was dreary, the sky grey, the wind icy cold and filled with rain. The endless unnamed roads displayed sign after sign of ‘Kiwi Ahead’, ‘Kiwi Wandering’ and ‘Slow Down – Kiwi Crossing’. 
Tempers flared and tensions rose in the enclosed space as the hum of the engine droned on and on, jangling the nerves.
Suddenly, driving past yet another Kiwi sign, the clouds broke. A sliver of blue sky appeared and a magnificent rainbow arched over the horizon. From the top of the hill, the visitors looked down on the idyllic glass- mirror, crystal blue Lake Wakatipu, surrounded by the enchanting misty forests of Tolkien's fictional world of Middle-Earth magic. 
The beauty of the scene created an awe-inspiring sense of calmness, happiness, pleasure and fulfilment. It was worth the wait!
